Contracts

A contract must be submitted for any expense in which an individual, group or vendor is asked to be paid for their services (ie: a speaker, DJ, instructor, etc.). Contracts are also required for any vendors that provide services for free/at zero cost. 

Contracts are generated and signed by Student Development. Any student group wishing to contract an individual, group, or vendor must submit a request to student.clubs@mhc.cuny.edu at least 3 weeks in advance of the event. A price quote or invoice should be included, when appropriate. 

The contract must be signed by the vendor and submitted to Macaulay at least 10 days prior to the event. A student or a student organization should not be signing any contracts. See additional conditions below. 

  1. DJs cannot use the Macaulay sound system and must provide their own equipment.
  2. We cannot pay CUNY faculty. 
  3. CUNY students are not eligible to be paid for services provided to Macaulay student groups, unless they own or are a part of an official business or LLC.
