Hi!! My name is Libertad, you can also call me Libby. I am a freshman at Macaulay Hunter.
My experience and skills:
In high school I was overly involved in things like SING for 2 years in a row and was a lead actor and singer. I was also in Model United Nations for 2 consecutive years speaking of future and ongoing problems. Outside of that, I was also involved in my school’s varsity lacrosse team for 2, student government and the key club.
Why I want your vote:
I believe if I get elected in the student government body all voices will have a chance to be heard. This may sound cliche, but I am very outspoken and love to include everyone so no one’s light is dimmed. I am also very outgoing and passionate about things I believe in and also include other’s perspective as I bring a lot of energy in a room.
If elected, I will not only make this Macaulay program feel not only an honors program but a community where everyone can thrive successfully and grow. I will also use my humongous amount of energy for events and opportunities that includes students of all backgrounds to share their interests and cultures.
I want to be your personal advocate where anyone whom anyone can come to with ideas, concerns and goals with the knowing fact that your voice will be heard.
