I am someone who loves taking initiative, bringing people together, and creating a positive impact in my community. As President of my high school’s Environmental Club, I developed strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills while working with students to turn ideas into action. I also volunteered at the Cold Spring Harbor Fish Hatchery, where I helped educate younger students about wildlife and conservation. My experience working at Chick-fil-A also taught me how much I genuinely enjoy connecting with people. I loved having conversations with customers at the window, hearing about their day, and making a small interaction feel meaningful. I am not afraid to reach out, make connections, and put myself out there. Whether that means connecting with local businesses, reaching out to potential sponsors, or finding new opportunities for my fellow students, I am always willing to take the initiative to make something happen for our Baruch family. I am a people person who values connection, listens to others, and genuinely enjoys creating opportunities that bring people together.
Why I want your vote:
I want your vote because I want to be someone who brings people together and turns student ideas into real action. I want to create more opportunities for students across all Macaulay campuses to connect, collaborate, and build a stronger community together. I would love to work with sponsors, local businesses, and small businesses, especially those around Baruch, to create opportunities that benefit both students and our community. This could look like partnering with pottery studios to secure exclusive student discounts, supporting local small businesses, or organizing fundraisers with restaurants like CAVA, where a portion of the proceeds (from students who buy during the fundraiser) can go toward our Student Activity Fund. I also want to create an Entrepreneur Showcase where students can present their prototypes, products, or business ideas, receive feedback from their peers, and even have the opportunity to sell their creations. I want to create more student-led initiatives, cross-campus events, volunteer opportunities, and spaces where students can share their ideas and feel genuinely heard. But my vision goes beyond Macaulay. I want to spark change throughout New York City by bringing together students who want to make a difference in the communities around them. I want to be a representative who listens, takes initiative, and who makes things happen. And most importantly, I want you to know that I am here for you.
