Hello Macaulay Students!
My name is Elona and I want to represent you. I think of myself as a person with broad interests. However, by involving myself in all kinds of activities I am able to make connections with EVERYONE. I want everyone to be able to find their community and diversify their hobbies. I am from Westchester County in NY. I play volleyball, love to make art, learn about anything related to economics, read, watch basketball and soccer, go fishing, and I dabble in other activities. As college students living in the most expensive city, I want you guys to have fun without having to spend money. We should not have to pay in order to have fun as kids.
I was president for Smart Investments Club and Engineering Club at my high school. I have also done community service at the John C. Hart Library and Hammond Museum & Japanese garden. Through these experiences of inspiring young adults and helping the public, I have learned the struggles of executing plans, getting everyone involved and interested, and making everyone happy.
I would be a good representative not because of my many accomplishments but because of my mistakes.
I have learned a lot from high school and will continue to grow in college.
