Hello all!
A lot of what service has meant to me has come from student government. I found myself paying attention to the small things students would mention in passing—something that was frustrating them, an idea they wished someone would try, or a concern they didn’t know who to bring to. Those conversations stayed with me, and I learned to take them seriously.
That experience shaped the way I think about community. I want to bring that same attentiveness to the Macaulay Student Council, especially in a community made up of so many different backgrounds and perspectives. I care about making people feel comfortable speaking up, and I hope to be someone who listens closely enough to turn those conversations into something useful.
