Hello Mountain Lions! My name is Arely Martinez, and I’m running to be your Macaulay CSI Representative for the Class of 2030.As a lifelong Staten Islander, leadership and community are core parts of who I am. Throughout high school, I dedicated myself to student government, serving as Junior Class President and Senior Class Vice President, and I am ready to bring that proven experience to CSI. I know exactly what it takes to bring people together, whether that is through organizing successful fundraisers to lower costs on student trips, volunteering in the community, or using social media to keep everyone connected and informed.If elected, my first priority is listening to your ideas on how to make our college experience memorable and enjoyable. Since we are spending the next four years together, there is nothing better than staying united and building lifelong friendships. I will use the knowledge I gained in high school to make sure everyone stays well-informed and ensure that no student ever feels left out.I am organized, determined, and most importantly, easy to talk to!
