Hey everyone! I’m Anita, a freshman at Baruch and a member of the Macaulay Class of 2030!
MY EXPERIENCE:
I currently serve as President of my church’s English Youth Council, where I lead meetings, organize events and fundraisers, and have helped coordinate mission trips to Honduras, handling applications and flight logistics, assigning responsibilities within our youth team, and communicating with the local church’s youth throughout the trip.
In high school, I’ve also served on the boards of two clubs, Chinese Culture and Christian Seekers, and am currently a University Council Member with Seeds of Fortune. Through these roles, I’ve gained a lot of experience organizing events, working with diverse groups, and turning ideas into ways for others to connect.
WHY I WANT YOUR VOTE:
We’re going to be spending the next four years together, and I want our class to feel like an actual community, not just 30-something students who happen to share the same program.
I want to hear what YOU want out of Macaulay. Maybe that’s better events, more ways to meet people outside of your cohort, or just having someone who will actually bring your ideas to council. I want to help make Macaulay feel less like something we’re simply enrolled in and more like something we’re part of.
