Hello my friends!
My name is Zoe George and I am excited to be running again to be your Scholars Council Representative for next year!
Serving as your representative this year has truly been an honor. I loved getting to know you all on a more personal level and being a part of your Macaulay journey.
While on the Scholars Council, I was part of the Campus Affairs and Finance Committees. I helped plan events like the Halloween Party, Winter Formal, Mocktail Mixer, and our recent boba party. On the Finance Committee, I ensured that Macaulay clubs and cohorts received thoughtful, fair budget allocations.
Beyond the committees, I made it my mission to:
1) Keep you all up to date with events and opportunities at Macaulay Central
2) Be available for any questions or support
3) Consistently check in with all of you individually
To me, being your representative means being someone you can fully trust, someone who leads with transparency, empathy, and compassion. I aim to be a familiar, friendly face you can always turn to, no matter what you’re going through. Whatever your major is, I am here to support you and advocate for your unique goals.
I am more determined than ever to make next year even better. Get ready for more fun events like ice skating, picnics, and game nights! I want you all to feel as connected and involved with Macaulay as possible. I’m also committed to actively seeking out new professional opportunities, whether that’s networking events, guest speakers, or career-building workshops, to support you all beyond the classroom.
