Hey Everyone! I’m Tin, and I’m re-running as Brooklyn’s rising Junior representative on the Macaulay Scholars Council. In the past year, I learned a lot from being your representative, from monthly cohort emails to hosting a Christmas event right before winter break. I was extremely grateful that we had some leadership from the Macaulay building come all the way down to Brooklyn, such as Dean Byrne and Provost Meeks on the Dean’s visit, and Director of Career Development Gianina Chrisman for the handshake registration event.
While I had a super eventful year with MSC, I don’t think my work is done. Future goals I have as your representative are to promote more events at Brooklyn College, hope to alleviate any concerns you guys have regarding things like the opportunities fund and graduating requirements, as well as be a voice for you guys to the Deans directly through events such as College Council.
So, vote for Tin AGAIN as the 2027 Class Representative!
