Hi everyone!! I’m excited to be re-running for MSC President for my final year on council 🙂
Over the past three years on council, I’ve been incredibly grateful to work alongside such an ambitious, creative, and supportive group of representatives. This past year, serving as president has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my time at Macaulay. Through this role, I’ve had the opportunity to lead meetings, support the e-board, strengthen communication between MSC and the deans/admin, and consistently show up to support many MHC events and initiatives throughout the year. I’ve always believed leadership is about being dependable, collaborative, and willing to support others however you can. I’ve personally felt that this role has helped me grow so much both as a leader and as a person, and I want to continue using everything I’ve learned this past year to better support this council and community.
Outside of MSC, I’ve also stayed deeply involved within the Macaulay community through programs like Civic Futures Lab, the Collaborative Wellness Project, and peer mentoring. Through these experiences, I’ve learned how important community-building, communication, and student support truly are. Whether it’s helping students feel more connected, creating spaces where people feel heard, or encouraging others to get involved, these are values I would continue bringing into this role.
If re-elected, one of my biggest goals is to continue strengthening our council community. I would love to start a yearbook committee to help create something lasting that captures the memories, traditions, and people that make MSC special. I also want to continue spreading awareness of MSC and encouraging more students to engage with our events, committees, and opportunities. Most importantly, I want to continue supporting everyone on council and making sure members feel heard, included, and encouraged to contribute their ideas.
I would truly be honored to continue serving as your president. Thank you <3
