Hey Macaulay Scholars!
I’m Ounay Tawadrous, a proud freshman at Hunter and part of the Macaulay Class of 2029, and I’m so excited to be running for the Macaulay Scholars Council!

A little about me—I come from a background in healthcare and community service, where I’ve spent the last few years learning what it really means to listen, lead, and support others. Whether working as a certified medical assistant or learning through programs like MedDOCs and SkillSpring, I’ve come to value compassion, clear communication, and being someone people can count on.

If I’m elected, I want to focus on making the Macaulay community feel more connected—especially between campuses—and ensure that communication is open, inclusive, and easy to navigate. I believe Hunter has so much to offer, and I’m excited to bring that energy to the wider Macaulay family.

More than anything, I want to help build a space where everyone feels seen, heard, and supported. Let’s make these next four years count—together.

Thanks so much for reading, and I’d be honored to have your vote!

Vote Ounay Tawadrous for Macaulay Scholars Council!
