Hey everyone 😁!! My name is Mira Goodman and I’m running to be the next Hunter Class of ‘29 Representative for Macaulay Scholars Council. Here are my ideas and my experiences. ⬇️
Service really matters to me. I’m proud to have received the Presidential Volunteer Service Award, and I’m excited to bring that same energy to Scholars Council. If elected, I’d love to set up a simple anonymous feedback form 📝, so YOU ALL can share thoughts, concerns, or ideas comfortably. It’s an easy way to keep things streamlined and connected.
My leadership style balances fun and support with targeted hard work and BIG results.
As Mock Trial Team captain, I didn’t just organize weekly snack potlucks (though they were delish 🤌). I also led my team to the top 5 in the STATE out of over 350 teams at the 2025 New York State Championships, earning us a trip to the state capital to compete in front of federal judges!!
As Debate Team Captain and q Varsity Competitor, I didn’t just institute paper plate award ceremonies, support sessions, and obviously more potlucks 😋. I was also able to recruit the most new members since the pandemic as well as get earn my team a National Varsity Team Finalist award.
I’m excited about the future of our Macaulay community and I hope to help shape it.
