Hi there! My name is Melody, and I’m a third-year student at Baruch College running to be your Macaulay Scholars Council Representative for the Class of 2027.
As Executive Vice President of Ascend Baruch, I’ve led professional development initiatives that connect students with industry professionals and help prepare them for competitive internships and full-time roles. I’ve also founded and continue to lead an online educational platform that makes educational resources accessible. These experiences reflect my commitment to building accessible, high-impact resources for students—and I’m excited to bring that same energy to MSC.
My candidacy is centered on two goals: expanding access to professional opportunities and strengthening our community. Whether it’s through career programming, mentorship initiatives, or cross-campus events, I want to ensure Macaulay students feel empowered in their career paths and connected to their peers. After all, we grow best when we grow together.
