Hi I’m Jake Pechter, and I’m running to be CSI’s Scholars Council Representative.
Throughout HS, I had multiple leadership positions such as National Honor Society President, Captain of Debate Team & Research Club, and Student Intern Advisor for my school’s Scholars Academy. I continually played a role in helping my peers with their course requests, and college essays & applications. In doing so, my goal was always to help my fellow students succeed and thrive.
These activities not only gave me the leadership experience desired for the role, but also the articulation CSI deserves. Even though Staten Island can often be forgotten, you will never have to worry about me ever not speaking our mind, being honest, or standing up for CSI.
But enough about me:
I want to see what you all would like to see from your own Scholar’s Council representative. Therefore, before the election, I would like to hear from all of you on social media (Insta & Snapchat – jpechter16). This will help me better represent you all for the next 4 years.
