Hi everyone!
I’m so excited to announce that I’m running for VP of Community Service again for this upcoming semester! Over the past year, I’ve had the incredible opportunity to collaborate with amazing organizations like GreenThumbNYC, The American Cancer Society, The American Lung Association, L.O.V.E., Pride Community Centers across NYC, The Ali Forney Center, The Trevor Project, and PCRF. Every event I’ve hosted through Macaulay has helped expand the network of volunteer opportunities available to students and each one has created another unforgettable experience. This past year, we also introduced more Macaulay central events like clothing drives, bake sales, and food drives which made it easier for students to give back on their own schedules. Whether volunteering hands-on or donating between busy weeks, every bit counts (especially since we’re all juggling a lot as honors students!). I’m excited to hopefully continue building on this momentum and create even more impactful ways for us to support our communities together!
