Hii everyone! I’m Elif Basaran, and I’m running to be your next Class of ‘29 rep for Macaulay Scholars Council!!
With previous experience in student government, I was the Class of ‘25 Treasurer and student rep, managing funds throughout my senior school year at one of the most crowded high schools in NYC. I was also an active board member in clubs such as Genders & Sexualities Alliances (GSA) and Science Olympiad, where I gained valuable experience that will be essential for this position.
While experiences matter, clear communication is the best way to ensure transparency amongst this tight-knit community. As our school’s representative (hopefully🤞), I promise to create a transparent bridge to make our first year memorable!
