Hi everyone! My name is Cordale Jimmison, and I’m a proud Forensic Psychology major at John Jay and a member of the Macaulay Honors College Class of 2027. I’m excited to announce that I’m running for re-election as your MSC Representative!
Over the past year, I’ve had the incredible privilege of representing our John Jay Macaulay cohort on Council for the past two years, where I’ve served on the Clubs Committee. Through this position, I’ve worked closely with student leaders across campuses to support club funding, event planning, and collaboration that reflects the diverse interests and passions of our community. I’ve also taken part in helping to build inter-campus connections and foster a stronger sense of unity and engagement within the Macaulay student body.
In addition to Council, I serve as a Collaborative Wellness intern, where I’ve worked to promote student well-being through peer-support programming and resource-sharing across the John Jay campus. This experience has deepened my commitment to supporting our cohort holistically—emotionally, academically, and socially—by creating spaces that prioritize care, inclusion, and community.
If re-elected, I hope to build on the foundation we’ve created and advocate for more John Jay-specific programming, increased visibility for professional development opportunities, and stronger connections between cohorts. I believe in leadership that listens, collaborates, and acts—and I’m committed to continuing that work on your behalf.
Let’s make the ’25–’26 school year our most connected, engaging, and empowering one yet. I’d be honored to have your vote!
If you have any questions or ideas, don’t hesitate to reach out via cordale.jimmison@macaulay.cuny.edu or our cohort group chat.
Voting will take place May 7–13—your voice matters, and I hope to continue representing it on Council!
