Hi Macaulay QC!! 🧡🧡 I’m Ayana Singh, an economics major who wants to make sure that your voices and needs are heard! I’m running to be your future sophomore class rep to represent all of you and advocate for your needs.
Why me? From founding a sustainability club called EcoFinance at Queens College to creating a cultural club in my high school known as Brown At Bowne I’ve had many roles as a leader. I’ve dedicated my time to creating a space for students to further their niche interests and find a sense of community. I also served on my high school’s student government, working on events attended by 100-300+ students and advocating for the needs of the student body. created many events that brought several students together and created long-lasting memories.
As displayed, one of my goals is to create fun events for my fellow students and to make their college experience memorable while making lifelong friends along the way. Beyond events, I would advocate for better academic resources, such as pushing for more study groups among students or even helping to find academic support resources for you guys. I hope to help you guys succeed in academics and to be a supporting figure along your college journey.
