Hello everyone! I am Audrey, and I would love to be your VP of Campus Affairs!
Since I joined council two years ago, I have worked very hard to represent my home campus as well as my Macaulay community. At Lehman, I serve as President of the Student’s Uplifting Ancestral Spaces organization. I host several events at Van Cortlandt Park to connect people to nature and the history of the Bronx. I am also active in several other clubs like the Biology Club where I have brought professionals from health fields to engage with club members. As a representative, I have participated in several events and been an active voice regarding efforts to engage students from campuses outside of Manhattan. Through hosting events like the honors picnic and biweekly SUAS meetings, I have gotten to understand the challenges of being an active member of the community and remaining committed to other responsibilities.
As VP of Campus Affairs, I hope to continue the amazing work done by Shivani to improve engagement during club meetings. I will continue to keep them brief yet informative and develop methods to keep people connected. I also plan to work alongside Student Development to further highlight events like the Club Leader Retreat. I wish to promote attendance and develop a stronger bond with club leaders outside of the monthly meetings.
