Hi everyone,
My name is Abe Janani. In high school, I served as president of my student government, where I worked closely with students and faculty to plan activities, events, and fundraisers.
As president, I also created and directed a kindness program. Every Sunday, I worked with senior volunteers to give back to the community—whether by taking children with special needs on fun outings like bowling and pizza, or by visiting patients in the hospital. I coordinated transportation, scheduling, and logistics to ensure each day was meaningful and impactful.
As your Macaulay Scholars Council representative, I want to make sure the voices of all Macaulay students are heard and considered. My goals are to keep everyone updated on events, advocate for what matters to you, and strengthen our sense of community. Since Brooklyn College is farther from the Macaulay Honors campus, I especially hope to make sure Brooklyn Macaulay students are fully included and that activities reach us as well.
I look forward to connecting with you, hearing your feedback, and working together to make this year amazing and inclusive—where everyone feels listened to, valued, and involved.
