Hi! I’m Hanna Hodzic, Hunter ’30, and I am running for Macaulay Scholars Council.
I have spent years in student leadership and advocacy, but before I go on about my qualifications and experience, I want to keep this concise.

Quick polls will let Hunter students suggest and vote on monthly activities. Each month, there will be at least 5 events—from karaoke and dinners to group study sessions, game nights, sports, and NYC outings.

Short monthly reports: what you asked for, what we brought up, what happened, and what comes next. A “Macaulay Hunter” report will also highlight the concerns students bring up each month—whatever they may be.
MACAULAY HUNTER COUNCIL
A council within our community.
So many Macaulay Hunter students have expressed interest in Scholars Council. While there is only one spot available right now, we can work toward greater representation as the largest cohort. I will also work to establish a separate Hunter council where students can coordinate ideas, support our community, and gain leadership experience.
“I HAVE AN IDEA” FUND
I will start fundraising initiatives to provide microgrants for ANY Macaulay student to create a project, event, initiative, or simply something fun—with no council position required.
WHY ME?
Student government. Nonprofit leadership. Advocacy. Fundraising.
I’ve represented 600+ student leaders in statewide campaigns, led nonprofits reaching over 200 students, and volunteered 100+ hours with community organizations.
This campaign isn’t about my résumé.
It’s about what we can build together.
