Hi, I’m Julian. Like everyone, we’re learning the ins and outs of our new college. We need strong leadership at this critical point — there’s no room for inexperience.
As a former student council president for two terms, I know that simply stating ideas won’t get far. You need the skill and experience to work with the top brass who can make affirmative change.
As your class representative, my first initiative will be Monday and Friday breakfasts in the Macaulay Hunter lounge. Students should be able to start and end the week with free food and laughter.
As we get to know our college counselors, there may be times when alternative viewpoints or questions are needed. To address this, I will propose a weekly all-counselor panel Q&A, giving students the ability to engage with counselors they may not have previously interacted with.
As your representative, navigating ideas, pushing and pulling with the leadership of our college will be my forte. There will be no wiggle room when it comes to advocating for my constituents.
