Hi Everyone!
My name is Priya, and I’m a current freshman at CCNY majoring in business.
Coming from a background rooted in community building as a woman of color, I’ve always found strength in bringing diverse voices to the table. That same passion for inclusion and unity is what I hope to bring to the Macaulay Scholars Council.
At Macaulay, I serve on the marketing committee of the Business Club, where I design promotional flyers and help manage our LinkedIn presence. I’m also an active member of several cultural clubs on campus, which have deepened my understanding of community engagement. Beyond campus, I founded BioTrail, an environmental initiative through which I organized national summits, conducted policy work, and spoke at the United Nations. My background also includes debate and dance, both of which sharpened my communication and teamwork skills.
These experiences have equipped me with the creativity, initiative, and perspective to plan inclusive events, amplify student voices, and strengthen connections across campuses. I’m excited to represent CCNY on the Macaulay Scholars Council and help build a vibrant, informed, and united student body.
