Hi Macaulay students! My name is Celine Glennon, and I am a rising senior at Hunter College.

MY EXPERIENCE:

For the past three years, I have served as a Student Lounge Volunteer (SLV), helping to maintain the Reading Room and organizing weekly social events (from arts & crafts to board game nights) that bring students together. I also served as the Student Life Intern for one semester, where I oversaw 60+ SLV events and played a key role in building community amongst 30+ SLVs. Additionally, I’ve been a Macaulay Peer Mentor for two years and had the honor of serving as President this past academic year, welcoming in the newest members of our Macaulay community. These roles have strengthened my leadership skills and deepened my passion for working with others.

WHY I’M RUNNING FOR SCHOLAR’S COUNCIL:

I care deeply about the Macaulay community; It has given me so much and has truly shaped my college experience. I would describe myself as an open, genuine, and compassionate leader. I am committed to making sure that students feel heard, unconditionally supported, and connected to one another.
