Hey Macaulay 🦁🧡! I’m Jirel Gonzalez, your local 4.0 research driven enthusiast, biology major, an OG vanilla froyo enthusiast (with sprinkles of course), and I’m looking to be to your next MHC sophomore rep! 🫡
I’m sure you’re wondering what I can bring to the table 🥸. Well, I was a secretary for a program a year ago, where I would manage over 100 student’s email announcements meticulously, sending weekly recaps with opportunities I found to fit their interests and goals. I also have a better sense than ever of what being part of the Macaulay community is like, getting the opportunity to make connections with so many of you these past two semesters ☺️!
My main goal is to advocate for you guys in a way that I know how; attending budget meetings and curating events for your interests! I plan on making Macaulay at Hunter a place you can relax during Finals week with food and comfort, or even spend sleepless nights with accompanied by a movie and a stuffed friend! 🧸🤎. We’re already doing and sharing so many amazing things, and I plan on continuing them with the same enthusiasm!
