Hi everyone!

For the past three years I have had the honors of being a Macaulay Scholars Council representative. It has been a joy working alongside such dedicated people who share a common goal of creating a welcoming environment for students across the CUNY campuses.

During the 2025-2026 academic year, I was able to build upon my dedication to MSC by serving as Campus Affairs Vice President. In this role, I responded to the varying feedback from students about Macaulay reconstruction, working alongside Student Development and Dean Hoover to answer pressing questions about the changes to the campus environment.

Next year, I hope to continue strengthening this line of communication, reviving the Cultural Fair and reinforcing MSC’s connection to student clubs by hosting more collaborative events such as the Music Mixer. Outside of event hosting, I aspire to increase transparency between MSC and student clubs, especially when it comes to administrative concerns. In our role as representatives, we are meant to serve as a liaison between the study body and staff at Macaulay, and by illuminating the steps we undergo to provide funding and work alongside Student Development, bonds between all parties will be deepened.

Along with my desires for an improved connection to student clubs, I look forward to working with all of you. No matter the outcome, I am beyond grateful to be a part of such an ambitious, caring group of people. Can’t wait to see the amazing things we do next year 🙂

Best regards,
Audrey Adon
