Raitah Jinnat majors in computer science with minors in chemistry and math in the Macaulay Honors program at Hunter College. Raitah’s volunteering and interning at the Asiyah Women’s Center sparked her inspiration to become a Kenan Scholar. She aspires to wield the intersection between STEM and journalism as a storyteller to uplift unhoused and marginalized populations. In the future, Jinnat hopes to work as a physician to give back to her community through advocacy, investigative skills, and research.
