Upload the completed and signed appropriate checklist(s) with your supporting documents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/macaulay.cuny.edu\/oppfund-docs\/study-abroad-checklist.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Study Abroad\/Study Away<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/macaulay.cuny.edu\/oppfund-docs\/internship-checklist.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Internship\/Research\/Fieldwork<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>GRANT TYPES<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Advances:<\/strong>&nbsp; In some cases, it is appropriate to request a grant before a funded activity takes place.&nbsp; This type of application is called an \u201cadvance.\u201d&nbsp; If you apply for an advance, you must supply a flyer\/brochure that includes a budget and quotes or other material documenting the cost of your proposed activities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Reimbursements:<\/strong>&nbsp; In some cases, it is appropriate to request a grant after you have engaged in an academic activity.&nbsp; This type of application is called a \u201creimbursement.\u201d&nbsp; However, please be aware that reimbursements for any particular activity are not guaranteed.&nbsp; The Opportunities Fund Committee may deny reimbursement requests for activities that are not adequately justified or properly documented.&nbsp; You will then be responsible for any such expenses.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You must request all reimbursements during the first access period following the activity for which you are requesting reimbursement.&nbsp; Late applications for reimbursements will not be approved.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>IMPORTANT INFORMATION<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You must submit receipts no later than the first day of classes of the semester immediately following the activity. If your receipts are not submitted by the documentation deadline a registration stop will be placed on your record.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All Opportunities Fund application decisions are final.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Seniors in their last semester can only apply for a reimbursement (no advances).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Opportunities Fund funds cannot be applied toward expenses incurred after the student&#8217;s last semester of attendance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students who have graduated cannot submit an Opportunities Fund Application.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Opportunities Fund funds can only be used for items that were approved.
