Winter Intensive MCAT Prep Course: REGISTRATION

This coming winter, Macaulay Honors College will offer an intensive MCAT prep course for pre-med students (Juniors and Seniors) intending to take the MCAT exam this spring or summer (2018). The course will cover all major areas of MCAT content and testing strategy, and aims to build camaraderie of peers by taking place in-person over the span of 6 weeks.

COURSE DETAILS

  • 18 2-hour sessions (36 hours); 3 afternoon sessions per week for 6 weeks (IN-PERSON ATTENDANCE REQUIRED, CLASSES HELD AT MACAULAY CENTRAL BUILDING)
    • Starting January 8 – February 16 (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 2-4pm)
  • 2 proctored MCAT practice exams
  • Takeaway roadmap self-study plan for each student upon completion of course
  • Complimentary one-on-one medical school admissions consultation for each student, redeemable at any point during or upon completion of the course

Please note that class size is limited to 25, and registration priority will be on a first-come-first-served basis. We will have an automatic waitlist for those who register later, and should a seat open up the class, the first person (and so on) on the waitlist will be notified and given 24 hours to accept the open space.

Students will be expected to cover the cost of course materials on their own.

Although this course is free of charge and is not credit bearing, student participation and attendance is expected as though this were a credited course. Attendance and lateness will be recorded in every class meeting. In the case that the student misses more than 2 class sessions, the student will be financially responsible for the course (approximately $800). In all cases of absence, you MUST contact the instructor in advance of each class session.
