We’re seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our Marketing and Communications team at Macaulay Honors College. As a Macaulay Content Creator, you’ll play a vital role in expanding our brand awareness and fostering a vibrant student community through impactful digital communication. Responsibilities may include:
- Produce various content types (videos, articles, graphics) in alignment with Macaulay style guides.
- Creating content for our website development project, including landing page videos, etc.
- Engage with student-run social media accounts, including our TikTok channel.
- Use Canva and other software for social media post creation and management.
- Schedule social media content across multiple platforms using Hootsuite.
- Target content to specific audiences and trending topics.
- Coordinate with students, staff, and advisors for content creation and scheduling.
- Recruit, manage, and mentor a team of Macaulay Content Creators.
- Organize events to support content creation and community engagement.
- Assist with drafting and editing materials for the Macaulay Honors College website.
- Support the Director of Marketing & Communications and perform other assigned duties.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Proficiency in content creation and social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Twitter).
- Excellent writing, graphic design, videography/editing, and photography skills.
Benefits:
This is a paid position
Commitment: 5 hours a week for 15 weeks
One-time Stipend: $1,250
