Bio must be in third person and be no longer than 1100 characters (~1 paragraph):
A good bio has the following components:
-Full Name
-Academic Major and Minor
-1-2 highlights or achievements throughout your time as a student (This can include but not limited to: awards, community service, leadership opportunities, community involvement, and other achievements)
-A brief description of your post-graduate plans
Here is a great example of a past Senior Award bio for reference:
Demi Moore is a Political Science and English Creative Writing double major. Currently, she works as an Executive Assistant at Shine Media Productions where she started in Spring 2018 as a Media Outreach Intern. She was a lead organizer at TEDxCUNY, a student-led TEDx conference and CUNY’s ideas hub. She is also a recipient of the Presidential Award for Excellence and the Grove Scholarship.
In Fall 2016, she became a Political Intern with New American Leaders Project while also serving as a Student Senator. In Spring 2016, Demi started writing for Odyssey at Hunter and launched Macaulay Crew, Macaulay’s hip-hop dance group. In Summer 2017, Demi worked at Paul, Weiss law firm. In Winter 2017, she went to Tokyo, Japan on a self-funded study abroad program. She was also a Legislative Intern at Assemblyman Ben Kallos’s office where she was drafting briefs for the meetings, answering phone calls, researching, and filing. In the future, she plans to apply to law schools after taking a gap year.
